I know blogs are such a difficult area to be successful in, especially since there are just so many bloggers producing amazing content and writing about important issues...that it's hard to compete. Which is why I have decided to not look at this as competing with other bloggers, but rather contributing to an inspiring world of creativity. I knew creating this blog and website was something I needed to do (I've wanted to start a project like this since I graduated High School...). So after countless hours of research, I settled on the overall aesthetic and feel of the blog I wanted to create. Many blogs solely focus on fashion/beauty, fitness/health, or lifestyle/design, but I wanted to create something that blended all of those together since they are so prominent in my daily life and I thought it might benefit others as well.

Nowadays, with how fast-paced life is, it's easy to forget about all the little wonders this world has to offer. My dream was to create something that not only reminded people to stop (...take a second to breath, look around...) and appreciate everything surrounding them, but to also use those details as inspiration for other aspects in life.
"Look for something positive in each day...even if some days you have to look a little harder."

Around high school is when I first noticed strangers and friends coming up to me and asking where I had found various outfit pieces, or shoes, or random accessories (usually my mom was the one to find those pieces...she's got a great eye!). This is what sparked the idea of keeping track of the outfits I wore and where exactly my mom was finding such unique pieces, which amazingly turned out to be right under everyone's nose and I continue to use some of those pieces today!!
I also learned to sew in one of my high school classes and that eventually turned into a passion as well. Initially, I wanted to go to an Art School for Fashion & Design, but for various reasons I ended up at UC Riverside as a Business Major. Slowly, my degree focus shifted towards Art History, however I kept Business Administration as a secondary concentration. Throughout my Art History courses my love for architecture, design, and art grew from an awe-inspired outlook to a genuine interest.
Now I have a B.S. in Interior Design, which has only pushed my interest further and further into something I'd like to make a career out of. I have a genuine concern for our environment and how buildings can impact the climate so I'm following my soul and learning more about sustainable design and figuring out how I can incorporate my own concepts into this professional field. I'm excited to share this journey with everyone and I can't wait to see where it may lead me...
So here I am today...that interest fueled more than ever, alongside my passions for fashion, dance, and a new found love for a healthy & active lifestyle...all of that comes together to create Inspirista Bree.

Most importantly, I want to inspire others to be themselves...laugh at silly things, embrace personal imperfections, strive for progress, work hard, be kind, smile often, and last but not least believe in yourself, believe in the stars, and know that you are a unique individual who is important and has incredible things to offer this world.
