ABOUT ME
I'm always searching for new inspirations and figuring out how I can use them to inspire other aspects of my life. I've been able to discover a newfound happiness within myself that now radiates through my soul, helping me grow, be more understandable and also kinder. There is too much negative in this world and I hope to bring a little ray of sunshine, or hope, or humor, or love to every thing posted on this site.

I've had a passion for all things fashion & design since I can even remember and recently began adopting a fit & active lifestyle just a few years ago. These passions have led me to pursue two degrees, a B.A. in Business Administration & Art History as well as a B.S. in Interior Design and I'm also studying for the certification test to become a LEED Green Associate. Currently, I work as the Professional Color Advisor for a Dunn-Edwards paint store in Corona, CA, however I also teach two Hip Hop classes (beginning/intermediate levels), Zumba, Tabata Jam, and Soul Body Barre at the University of California Riverside's Student Recreation Center.
Growing up in Southern California has only fueled my love for all things related to art, design, fashion, & fitness. Even when I was younger I would wander around places in awe of architectural features, interior finishes, building materials, textiles, & just overall atmosphere. This world has so much to offer culturally, naturally, visually & I take every moment I can to appreciate the surroundings and people in my life. My boyfriend, Ricky, has been a huge influence and supporter throughout our 12 year relationship. From high school proms to fraternity parties to finally having a little apartment of our own we have grown so much together and truly enjoy tackling all of life's obstacles at one another's side along with our two silly dogs - Squirt & Bella.​

I have a unique perspective on life, which has allowed me to find inspiration in some of the most unexpected things. I'm quirky, bold, and love combining unusual prints & colors with more classical & timeless elements to add interest & personality. My educational background combined with my personal experiences has not only given me great insight into the fashion, design, & art worlds, but has also made me well-rounded & knowledgeable in several different professional areas. This is one of the main reasons I wanted to start a blog/personal website, to not only share my creative outlook with others, but to hopefully inspire people to pursue their dreams, passions, and to not let anything or anyone stop them from being themselves or happy.
