TWISTED WEDNESDAY

Drawing inspiration from various characters is an everyday thing for me and for this look I had a special connection to none other than Wednesday Addams. For those who don't know her, she's a twisted, morbid, yet adorable little girl whose parents, Morticia & Gomez, are equally (if not more so) dark and sinister. The most recent movie version of The Addams Family, casts Cristina Ricci as Wednesday Addams and her character is the one I've connected to the most. The vibes for this look were somewhere around cute, but mysterious and I just ran with it. There's no denying I have experience moments of darkness, expressed my dislike for people, feel weird or even out of place, which is exactly everything Wednesday Addams is about and why I can relate.

LOVE this dress and those booties...the whole look is just right up my alley!! It's super comfy and nobody knows what the heck is going on underneath. ;) This is another one of my pieces from the Victoria Beckham x Target clothing line, the other being the yellow scalloped blouse. There's actually little bunnies on the collar, which made the dress feel sweet, but the black and white color scheme gives off that edgy vibe. That's exactly why I paired it with edgier accessories, such as the black booties and drop triangle earrings, giving it that Wednesday Addams style. The pictures are all black and white, contributing to the overall vintage, classic look. VIBE OUT!!!
