Since color is such a huge part of my life I wanted to figure out a way to share some of my monthly color trend picks and how you can incorporate them into your everyday lives. Therefore ever so often there will be a COLOR BLAST post, which will showcase a scheme of 5 total colors and give a bunch of examples of how you can use them in fashion, design, or any other way I can possibly think of at the time.
JUNE COLOR SCHEME
This month's scheme is very reflective of the summer season upon us. The colors are vibrant, welcoming, and bold, but don't necessarily need to be all paired together in order to achieve a trendy color scheme for things like a future event, space in your house, or even the next outfit you plan on wearing. Make the scheme more manageable by breaking it down to 2-3 colors, maybe even add a 4th as the overall accent (i.e. throw pillows, a purse, shoes, rug, artwork, or accent wall).
Below, I've rounded up a collection of images that represent the color scheme in some way as well as provides inspiration for all the different ways you can use these colors or where you can find them in your everyday life.
INSPIRATION IS EVERYWHERE!!!! Don't be afraid to venture out every once in a while, explore, and engage with things you're naturally drawn to throughout your life. Most days I make it a point to step away from all technological devices for a specified period of time (usually 20-30 min. at least) to unwind and do other tasks like coloring, sketching, playing with my dogs, get outside, or adventure out into my city.
The hope for these color posts is just to add a bit of extra inspiration to your everyday, make you think outside the box, or even entertain a new perspective you've never thought existed.
