Spring time has a huge collection of colors associated with the season, from pastels to vibrant hues...nothing is off the table! For this month I went with one of my favorite color combos - Pink and Teal, but my pinks have a little tan in them so they're not so dainty and pair up well with deep and bright teals. Hopefully this color palette will get you in that spring mood!
APRIL COLOR SCHEME
This scheme can range from soft and feminine to bold and vibrant depending on which colors you decide to make more prominent. Honestly, the first thing that comes to mind when I see these color is Palm Springs. In fact, the post "My Citrus Oasis" has a very similar color scheme, except the teal favors the green color family more so than the blue, but definitely has similar vibes.
If you're interested in play with pattern and texture mixing, this would be the perfect scheme to do it with because of the contrasting colors (think variation of red & green) and the cream/ivory can be used as your main neutral. You could also use other beiges and browns as neutrals as well. Gray could work as well, however I think warmer tones will compliment these colors better, so it's important to keep that in mind when selecting finishes and other decor.
To apply this scheme to other areas in your life such as, wardrobe, wedding schemes, or any other places you want to add color...my thinking is just GO FOR IT! Mix it around in every way possible, alternate between using one of the pinks as the main color to one of the teals. As usual, I've got some fun visuals below to give you just a bit more inspiration.
